What a girl would give get my hands on these Loca pumps in nude by Brian Atwood that Blake Lively was spotted in while filming some scenes for Gossip Girl (god that show... no words). Anyways, net-a-porter only has them available in lavender which is probably a good thing as dropping $800 on shoes just isn't a reality I live in these days... and all I really want are the nude... SUCH a good nude!

To add to the chill Tuesday theme, we've been jamming out to the Drums all morning... they are still so cute :)

I've decided this Tuesday is meant for chilling. No stress, no mess. Maybe even yoga tonight...

Well, it's true what they say - if you put something out into the universe, it will happen. 

Just this past weekend, while beaching it up in Portsmouth with some friends, I was saying (also on twitter) how over the blackberry I was... and how I really needed to make the (logical as a designer) move to the iphone... 

So the universe heard my cries and this morning, after returning from Sportello for coffee, discovered my dear little blackberry was completely missing in action. I went back to the shop, nothing there. Went to the mailbox where I mailed a check, nothing (and yes, I stood with my ear to it while I called from Lizzie's phone). I gave it a few hours, thinking if someone saw it and picked it up, they just might find their way back to me, all good-samaritan like... nothing. 

So, in a panic, I start calling all the apple stores, best-buys, at&t stores, knowing full well that everyone under the sun is out of the 4g... THEN, I got an little tip from a friend telling me the Natick store got a shipment today! Jumped in my car, ran through the mall, got the phone (after 1.5 hours of them setting everything, up and doing god-knows-what), good to go...

What happens when I get back you're wondering? Well of course, seeing as how it's now 4:30, I go to the fridge to grab the sandwhich I so cleverly bought at the same time as my coffee for later and low and behold... my blackberry is in the bag. IN THE FRIDGE THIS WHOLE TIME.

Day = wasted.
Blackberry = cold and account closed.
iPhone 4g = already dropped 3 calls.
Me = oddly happy but annoyed

... guess I got what I asked for? xx

While purusing Etsy the other week, I noticed this vintage chicken crate door and thought "finally, a way to cleverly display my jewery" (you know, besides hanging necklaces from some existing nails in the wall - um, yeah i've done that...). I think what got me was their simple, elegant and perfectly minimal decoration in the picture (and the $18 price tag)... gorgeous right?

Sorry for the lack of posts, I've taken a much needed break and am sweating it out in Brooklyn with Vic, Alyssa, Dara and friends... 

Not to worry, I'll be posting some pics of Oscar meeting Vic's lovely llamas down in new jersey (we spent the weekend floating in the pool at her parents' farm), along with a bunch of other goodies, later this week - promise.
