I can't believe it's already my birthday and I'm turning 28 today!

Growing up, I always hated how close my birthday was to Christmas but as an adult, I've found that instead, I love its proximity to the New Year as it gives me that added boost to start fresh with resolutions, new beginnings, etc.

This past year was great - I watched my business grow, I met and fell in love with my adorable mister Oscar, I made a lot of fun new friends... big smiled all around. While I'm slightly terrified of being one step closer to 30, my excitement for this year completely over-shadows that fear and thanks to some of the best friends a girl could ask for and a man that makes my heart flutter every day, I've grown an amazing network of support and love - I honestly couldn't be happier.

I took the day off to sleep in a bit and watch my guilty pleasure (general hospital) on dvr all morning with Oscar... couldn't resist snapping some pics of his cute, cuddliness. Enjoy :)
