« my messy chicken crate... »

While purusing Etsy the other week, I noticed this vintage chicken crate door and thought "finally, a way to cleverly display my jewery" (you know, besides hanging necklaces from some existing nails in the wall - um, yeah i've done that...). I think what got me was their simple, elegant and perfectly minimal decoration in the picture (and the $18 price tag)... gorgeous right?

Hahah well, cut to my messy/over-zealous attempt:

Certainly not the same effect but I still love it.

Think I have a thing for elephants? How many can you count? ;)
