« better your brand part 2... »

Tip #2: KNOW YOUR LOGO!
Your logo is arguably the most important piece of your company's branding. When working with your logo, it's vital to not only know the difference between file types, but to understand how to best implement them across both your online and print personas.  Because we care, we wrote up a little cheat sheet below.

"Know your love, love your logo, and treat it with respect!"

FILE TYPES 101:
.eps--This file format is best for high resolution printing (think billboard, poster, or a nice book).
.jpg--Uploading your logo to the web? Use a jpeg!
.png--This is similar to a jpeg but retains it's quality longer so if you have it, use it!
.pdf--A pdf is great when attaching your logo in an email or other e-document.
.ai--This is your original logo file, created by your designer! It's probably best not to mess with it :)

RESIZING 101:
Don't squish! Don't stretch! Don't skew!
Do give your logo plenty of padding. The overall effect will be clean and professional.  In other words... DON'T ABUSE YOUR LOGO!

Oh wait, you don't have a logo? Visit our job request page to submit an inquiry or give us a buzz at 617 939 9039.
