Last month, I wrote about the Free People bag contest and they just posted all the entries (and winner) on their flickr page... Oddly, there were lots of elephants - my fav animal - and lots of, well, interesting ideas. A few to sample:
and the winner is...

Not sure how I feel about the winner. It's not bad but just a little... cliché maybe? I feel like this style has been played out a lot the past year. I was hoping for something a little more flowery/bohemian maybe. Any thoughts?
Tomorrow morning, bright and early, Sarah and I start yoga teacher training. I'm a little nervous - at first about the massive amounts of anatomy and history reading we had to do but now more about the actual teaching portion of it... eeek! Needless to say, I'm anxious for our first weekend to start and am going to have a hard time sleeping tonight :)
That said, I hope everyone has a great weekend and hits up the beach - it's supposed to be PERFECT weather in Boston (finally!). Enjoy!
THIS is why I love flickr... you always end up stumbling across someone's photostream and get so mesmerized, you completely lose all sense of time.
Anne Cutler's photos are so stunning, I'm thisclose to buying her new coffee table book, TREECYCLE.

I don't know where this is... but I'd kill to be there right now.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday so dave and I drove up to new hampshire for a yummy chinese dinner. On the table was a beautiful arrangement hand-picked by my step-mother, straight from my dad's garden...

The little red yarrows (archillea millefolium) look shockingly similar to this blog's namesake - so delicate and intricate. They were paired perfectly with some red lilies and white daisies.
After dinner, my dad took me out to the garden to show off his perennial success and had it not been raining, I would've stayed and taken pictures for hours. He's truly a master gardener.
I fell in love with yet another blog today... this seems to be a daily occurrence (i totally just had to look up how to spell occurrence!).
Design is Mine just opened up a new Etsy shop featuring these adorable tees:
Def check out her blog along with another new and just as fabulous friend, Zest & Thyme (both can be found in my sidebar too) for daily procrastination/inspiration/pretty things :)
