Such great colors and intriguing patterns in this mural by Portugese artist, Fabio Tenorio under a pedestrian crossing in Rio de Janeiro last year. Check out his portfolio and blog for more.

I've been pulling a lot of weekends at the studio lately but decided this was the once to take off... and then ended up working a bit anyways (issues). At least the spot I chose was sunny and peaceful, with Oscar at my feet – followed by the dog park and a delicious coffee break at Bloc 11 :)

Well, I took the plunge. Impulsive? Yes. Loving life with bangs? YUP.
Just the change I needed. Thanks Jeffrey :)

Gotye and Kimbra's Somebody That I Used to Love has been stuck in my head a ton this week - absolutely love this video. Sidenote – Kimbra only feeds my recent craving to get bangs. Yes/no? Help.
Have a great weekend!

Tip #2: KNOW YOUR LOGO!
Your logo is arguably the most important piece of your company's branding. When working with your logo, it's vital to not only know the difference between file types, but to understand how to best implement them across both your online and print personas. Because we care, we wrote up a little cheat sheet below.
"Know your love, love your logo, and treat it with respect!"
FILE TYPES 101:
.eps--This file format is best for high resolution printing (think billboard, poster, or a nice book).
.jpg--Uploading your logo to the web? Use a jpeg!
.png--This is similar to a jpeg but retains it's quality longer so if you have it, use it!
.pdf--A pdf is great when attaching your logo in an email or other e-document.
.ai--This is your original logo file, created by your designer! It's probably best not to mess with it :)
RESIZING 101:
Don't squish! Don't stretch! Don't skew!
Do give your logo plenty of padding. The overall effect will be clean and professional. In other words... DON'T ABUSE YOUR LOGO!
Oh wait, you don't have a logo? Visit our job request page to submit an inquiry or give us a buzz at 617 939 9039.

Our very own miss Martha has created these adorable colorful prints AND they're up on Etsy!! So proud :)
I'm personally quite smitten with her flower print on magenta – would look great on my blue walls at home!!

It's the weekend???
I may be spending this sunny Saturday at the studio but hey, sometimes the weekends are the best times to get stuff done – barely any emails or calls to interrupt my thoughts, I can blast music and get lost on pinterest/tumblr/blogs for a few without feeling guilty in the slightest! Well, I still feel a little guilty ;)
Ok back to doing real work. Hope you all have a great weekend!! Go Pats!

Everyone's been buzzing about the luck that this new year of the dragon is supposed to bring and I have to agree – it's already shaping up to be an amazing year, filled with a tangible, super-charged energy in the air.
In lieu of said awesome upcoming year, I grabbed these beautiful dragon stamps at the post office and I kid you not, it took all my might to actually use them (yes, I'm saving a sheet for good luck).
It's also yet to be determined if the amazing miss Jeannie gifted me with Chanel's Rouge Allure Laque and Nail Colour in Dragon for my birthday in honor of this new year or not – or maybe she just knows I'm on a hunt for the perfect red...?
Either way, this lucky dragon is all over the place and I simply cannot get enough.
